Kanchanjunga Trek

Kanchanjunga (8586 m), the third highest peak of the world lies in far Eastern Nepal and mysterious Janu via the Yalung glacier (5000 m),one of the most remote and untouched region in Nepal, where time stands still. Offering abundant flora and fauna as inhabitants are spread out in small villages. . Previous explorers have sighted musk deer and blue sheep in this region. On the other hand “The Yeti” remains a mystery to be seen. Amazing views of Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjunga will make the trip worthwhile.

Day 1:Arrive Kathmandu. Nepali dinner with cultural show.
Day 2:Sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath. Evening Tibetan dinner.
Day 3:Morning transfer to airport for domestic flight to Taplejung. Start trek to Lali Kharka.
Day 4:Trek to Sinchebung.
Day 5:Trek to Mamankhe.
Day 6:Trek to Omje Khola.
Day 7:Trek to Torontan via Lamite Bhanjyang.
Day 8:Trek to Tseram.
Day 9:Trek to Oktang and back to Tseram.
Day 10:Trek to Tselele via Sinelapche and Mirgin pass.
Day 11:Trek to Ghunsa.
Day 12:Trek to Khambachen.
Day 13:Trek to Lhonak.
Day 14:Rest day for acclimatisation.
Day 15:Trek to Pangpema.
Day 16:Optional walk to 6000m peak.
Day 17:Trek to Khambachen.
Day 18:Trek to Ghunsa.
Day 19:Trek to Amjilassa.
Day 20:Trek to Tapethok.
Day 21:Trek to Jogidanda.
Day 22:Trek to Taplejung.
Day 23:Fly back to kathmandu.
Day 24:Explore Kathmandu
Day 25:International Departure.
